For a first job, follow this order: printer, connection, channel mapping, ink, and quality; then artwork and process; then preview; then print.

## Before you start \[#before-you-start]

- Install the current Windows version and start Yink Studio.
- Connect a supported printer and prepare matching ink and media.
- For Epson original, confirm that its Windows queue exists and is available.
- For Hoson-class / custom, obtain the controller TCP RAW host and port from the device administrator.

Sign in with the purchase email to activate paid access.

## Create your first job \[#create-your-first-job]

1. Add a printer; select the device and connection; configure channel mapping; select ink and print quality.
2. Import the image and adjust process settings.
3. Verify the preview.
4. Print.

> **Do not guess a preset**

> Ink has no default. Do not output when an exact calibration is missing. The preset ink channel mapping is the recommended mapping for the selected printer profile. On a four-channel machine, the white physical channel is fixed and cannot be changed. Enforcement of the white-channel lock in the client UI is pending.

## Verifiable first-output checklist \[#verifiable-first-output-checklist]

- The printer configuration exactly matches the physical device.
- Ink, media, and resolution presets are explicitly compatible.
- Page size, orientation, mirror, and layer order are correct in preview.
- Physical channels and white ink were checked one by one.
- A small sample has acceptable color, white ink, position, and media feed.
- Epson Feathering is enabled only when shown as supported; Hoson Feathering is confirmed on the controller.
